Evaluasi Sistem Kinerja Karyawan Berbasis Employee Engagement di SMAN 1 Langakaplancar

The value of employee engagement in an institution or company is really needed, because it can be a benchmark for the success of an institution. The aim of this research is to determine the importance of an employee engagementbased performance system in an educational institution by focusing on an educational institution in one of the schools in Langkaplancar sub-district, namely, SMAN 1 Langkap Selamat. This research uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method to evaluate employee performance at SMAN 1 Langkaplancar which focuses on the employee engagement system. This method is used to gain a deeper understanding of employees' experiences, perceptions and views of their work environment. The main instrument used in this research was a detailed interview from one of the curriculum staff at SMAN 1 Langkaplancar. The results of these observations are that the employee engagement system at SMAN 1 Langkaplancar is still considered weak, because the staff are still working under pressure from the school principal's policies, which are very contrary to the values of employee engagement, however, the staff's obedience to school regulations or policies will be the gateway. the beginning of the creation of an employee engagement system at SMAN 1 Langkaplancar.
