Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) activity was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Parigi with the aim of increasing the effectiveness of student organizations through leadership strategies in overcoming social loafing. This activity was motivated by the still low participation of organizational members, weak teamwork coordination, and less than optimal member responsibility in implementing organizational work programs. The method used in this activity was Participatory Action Research (PAR) through the stages of observation, interviews, workshops, interactive discussions, and organizational reflection. The activity was attended by approximately 50 participants from a combination of student organizations at SMA Negeri 1 Parigi. The results of the activity showed that participants began to understand the importance of participatory leadership, effective organizational communication, clear division of tasks, and collective responsibility in increasing organizational effectiveness. In addition, this workshop also provided participants with an understanding of the impact of social loafing on organizational productivity and the importance of a culture of cooperation in student organizations. Thus, this PKM activity is expected to be a medium for strengthening student organizations to be more active, disciplined, productive, and responsible in carrying out organizational work programs.
