However, the condition of the library at MA YPK Cijulang shows that the implementation of management functions, such as planning, organizing, implementing and controlling (POAC), is not optimal. This study aims to analyze library management through the POAC approach and its impact on student literacy. The method used was descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the library does not have a clear strategic plan, the classification and cataloguing system has not been implemented, literacy activities are minimal, and there is no periodic evaluation. As a result, students have difficulty accessing relevant reading materials and are less motivated to improve their literacy skills. These findings show that weaknesses in library management have a direct impact on students' reading culture and literacy quality. Therefore, there needs to be a comprehensive overhaul of the library management system so that it can play an optimal role as a center for learning and developing students' literacy in the era of educational transformation.
Neneng Nurmalasari, Yayu Nuraidah Solihat, Ujang Saepul Millah, Tiara Dewi Lestari, Dasep Supriatna Copyright (c) 2026 OASES: International Journal of Education, Culture, Society and Technology https://ejournal.alfarabi.ac.id/index.php/catalyst/article/view/996 Sat, 28 Feb 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Implementation of the Mudharabah Agreement in the Ib Maslahah Hajj Savings Scheme at Bank Jabar Banten Syariah, Pangandaran Branch https://ejournal.alfarabi.ac.id/index.php/catalyst/article/view/1203
Bank Jabar Banten Syariah (BJB Syariah) has been offering iB Maslahah Hajj Savings since 2010 as a sharia product integrated with the Ministry of Religious Affairs' Siskohat to prepare hajj funds, while addressing the issue of hajj advance funds in accordance with DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 29/DSN-MUI/VI/2002 through a profit-sharing-based mudharabah mutlaqah contract. This study applies a qualitative approach with a literature review, financial statement analysis, DSN-MUI fatwa, and observation at the Pangandaran KCP to examine its implementation. The results reveal that the bank implements a mudharabah mutlaqah contract with revenue sharing in line with DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 02/DSN-MUI/IV/2000, reflected in the growth of DPK of IDR 9.51 trillion and assets of IDR 13.12 trillion in the second quarter of 2024, plus features free of admin fees and a minimum deposit of IDR 10,000. Thus, this implementation is proven to be in accordance with sharia principles, transparent, and supports the certainty of Hajj departure, so customer education is recommended for further optimization
Muhamad Fahmi JRS, Nelis Sopariah, Siti Jenab, Ahmad Fauzi Copyright (c) 2026 OASES: International Journal of Education, Culture, Society and Technology https://ejournal.alfarabi.ac.id/index.php/catalyst/article/view/1203 Sat, 28 Feb 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Improving Social-Emotional Development Through Cooperative Games in Group B of RA Al Hidayah https://ejournal.alfarabi.ac.id/index.php/catalyst/article/view/1207
Social-emotional development is a crucial domain in early childhood education, as it forms the foundation for children’s ability to interact, empathize, and adapt in social environments. Children who develop strong social-emotional skills tend to be more successful both academically and in life. This classroom action research aims to enhance early childhood social-emotional development through the application of cooperative games. The study was conducted in group B of RA Al Hidayah, involving 24 children aged 5–6 years. The research employed the Classroom Action Research (CAR) design using the Kemmis and McTaggart spiral model, which consists of four stages: planning, implementing action, observing, and reflecting, carried out across two cycles. Data collection was carried out using observation sheets, interviews, documentation, and field notes. The results showed a significant improvement across both cycles. Pre-cycle data indicated that 30.31% of children were at the BB (not yet developed) stage. By Cycle II, BSH (developing as expected) increased to 27.60% and BSB (very well developed) reached 3.13%, demonstrating a marked improvement in children’s abilities to cooperate, take turns, express emotions, and show empathy. Cooperative games are an effective and enjoyable strategy to foster children’s social-emotional growth. The implementation of cooperative game activities in an inclusive and well-structured learning environment can serve as a practical approach for early childhood educators in stimulating positive social-emotional development and character formation
Muhammad Mansur, Siti Hazar Agisah, Salsa Fadilla, Intan Permatasari Copyright (c) 2026 OASES: International Journal of Education, Culture, Society and Technology https://ejournal.alfarabi.ac.id/index.php/catalyst/article/view/1207 Sat, 28 Feb 2026 00:00:00 +0000
