Perkembangan Sikap Sosial Siswa melalui Layanan Bimbingan Kelompok di SMA Negeri 1 Langkaplancar

Positive social attitudes play a vital role in shaping individual behavior, both within the school environment, at home, and in society at large. However, some students at SMA Negeri 1 Langkaplancar still demonstrate low levels of social awareness, particularly in terms of respect for others and collaboration. This study aims to examine how group counseling services provided by guidance and counseling teachers can effectively foster students’ social attitudes, with a specific focus on Class X-5 students. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of the guidance and counseling teacher, the homeroom teacher, and two students from Class X-5 identified as having difficulties in social behavior. In terms of data validation, this study is limited by the small number of participants and its implementation in a single institution, which may affect the generalizability of the findings. Nonetheless, the study provides practical insights into the implementation of value-based group counseling services in a school setting. The findings reveal that prior to participating in the group counseling sessions, students displayed low levels of social behavior, particularly in the aspects of respect and cooperation. Following two structured sessions focused on specific themes, students demonstrated improved understanding and motivation to apply these values in daily interactions. This study offers a developmental perspective on enhancing students' social attitudes through group counseling services, with particular emphasis on the use of counseling strategies grounded in Islamic values. Unlike previous studies that primarily focused on measuring effectiveness, this research highlights the importance of the counseling process itself and its application in real-life contexts
