Menentukan Gaya Penyelesaian Masalah di Lingkungan Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Huda Karangsalam Cibuntu Melalui Manajemen Konflik

Islamic boarding schools with diverse backgrounds of students often face potential conflicts. This study aims to examine the problem-solving style in the Miftahul Huda Karangsalam Islamic Boarding School in Cibuntu through effective conflict management. Method- This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with Edmund Husserl's phenomenological method. Data were obtained through complete participant observation and interviews, then analyzed in depth. Findings-Kiai leadership styles, whether charismatic, authoritarian-paternalistic, or laissez-faire, play an important role in managing conflict. Cultural values such as istighosah, haul and mujahadah also contribute to building solidarity and mutual understanding. Problem-solving strategies include deliberation, islah (reconciliation), and tabayyun (clarification of information) by involving conflicting parties, administrators, and kiai as the main mediator. Originality-This research provides insight into a typical problem-solving style in a pesantren environment, which combines elements of kiai leadership, cultural values, and problem-solving strategies that are appropriate to the pesantren context.
