Abstract

Charismatic leadership has a very important role in creating organizational change through social influence. This research aims to analyze the relationship between charismatic leadership and social influence in supporting organizational change. Charismatic leadership allows leaders to influence followers through clear vision, inspiration, and emotional connection, which in turn creates commitment and active participation in the change process. Social influence, which includes compliance, identification, and internalization mechanisms, assists leaders in changing the values, attitudes, and behavior of followers in both short-term and long-term changes. The research results show that charismatic leaders, with characteristics such as high self-confidence and the ability to inspire, can build strong relationships with their followers, driving engagement and significant transformation in organizations. Therefore, social influence becomes an important tool for charismatic leaders in achieving sustainable change. This research suggests that leaders need to develop their charismatic qualities as well as understand social dynamics to achieve more effective change in dynamic organizations.
