Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role and responsibility of education funding in improving the quality of learning at MA Al-Furqon Cimerak, Pangandaran Regency, with a focus on fund management by the school treasurer. The approach used is qualitative with a descriptive analytical method, and data is collected through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The subject of the study is the school treasurer who has an important role in the management and accountability of education funds in madrasas. The results of the study show that the funding sources at MA Al-Furqon consist of the School Operational Assistance Fund (BOS), school committee contributions, and community donations. The management of funds carried out by the treasurer still faces challenges related to limited funds and lack of support from local governments. However, the use of funds has been directed to the maintenance of facilities and infrastructure, improving the quality of teaching, and developing educational programs. Transparent and accountable management can have a positive impact on the quality of educational facilities and improve the quality of learning. This study concludes that good funding management by the treasurer plays an important role in improving the quality of learning at MA Al-Furqon Cimerak, although there are still challenges in optimizing fund management.
