The background of this study stems from the societal reality that, although religious freedom is constitutionally guaranteed and supported by Islamic principles, its implementation remains contentious, especially regarding the issue of apostasy. Employing a qualitative approach through interviews and literature review, this research explores the perceptions of religious leaders, scholars, and the general public regarding the concept of religious freedom and the challenges associated with it.</em></p> <p><em>The findings indicate that Islam, in its essence, upholds religious freedom as a divine gift and a reflection of human dignity. The Qur’anic verse “There is no compulsion in religion” (Q.S. Al-Baqarah: 256) illustrates this principle. However, when dealing with apostasy, interpretations vary significantly. Traditional views tend to regard apostasy as a grave offense deserving severe punishment, whereas contemporary interpretations emphasize tolerance, human rights, and individual autonomy in matters of faith. This paper advocates for a more inclusive and context-based understanding of religious freedom, one that aligns with both Islamic ethical values and international human rights standards. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach, where data were collected through observations and interviews with the school principal and several teachers in February 2025. The findings indicate that the school implements various strategies to guide teachers in understanding and applying the Merdeka Curriculum, including regular training and the utilization of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM). Optimization of infrastructure, such as computer laboratories, libraries, and internet networks, is also a key focus to support digital-based learning. Additionally, the school uses the results of the National Assessment as a basis for developing work programs to improve educational quality. As a boarding school, SMP Plus Ma’arif NU Parigi also integrates character education based on pesantren values to strengthen students' moral foundations. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with literature study data collection and interviews with IPAI FPIPS UPI lecturers, UIN Bandung PAI lecturers, and two UPI psychology students. This research aims to know and understand the role of Ukhuwah Islamiyah in fighting Silent Struggle and preventing suicide attempts in students. Using a qualitative descriptive design through a literature study, this study analyzed purposively selected literature published between 2010 and 2024, using thematic reduction methods as well as inductive and deductive inference. The results of the study show that PSB is able to improve independent learning, information literacy, and collaboration through access to print and digital materials, as well as supporting innovative pedagogical models such as blended learning and flipped classrooms. However, the effectiveness of PSBs is still limited by inadequate infrastructure, lack of trained human resources, and lack of policy support. Although limited to secondary data without primary field data collection, these findings provide practical implications for educational institutions and policymakers: PSB development needs to be carried out in an integrated manner through facility improvement, human capacity building, stakeholder engagement, and digital transformation in order to be maximized. The originality of this research lies in the multidimensional synthesis of pedagogical, technological, and organizational aspects of PSB into an integrated framework for 21st century education. The research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis. The results revealed several aspects of the policy that did not fully align with the characteristics and developmental needs of early childhood, such as the implementation of an overly academic curriculum, a heavy administrative workload for teachers, and limited support for child-centered learning approaches. Advances in technology and globalization have brought new challenges to the world of education, especially in maintaining moral values amidst rapid social change. Therefore, revitalization of religious education is needed so that it remains relevant in shaping students' character based on ethical and spiritual values. The research method used in this study is library research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through analysis of various literature sources, including books, academic journals, national education policies, and previous research results related to religious education and morality. Data analysis was carried out using content analysis techniques, namely examining the contents of various relevant references to find patterns, relationships, and strategies that can be used in revitalizing religious education. The results of the study show that religious education still has a crucial role in building students' morality. However, the main challenges faced include the lack of innovation in teaching methods, limited use of technology in learning, and the gap between religious education theory and practice in everyday life. Therefore, religious education needs to be revitalized through a technology-based learning approach, integration of religious values with science, and strengthening the role of teachers as moral figures for students. Revitalization of religious education can be done by developing a more contextual curriculum, implementing technology-based learning methods, and increasing cooperation between educational institutions and religious communities in strengthening character education. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive, which includes data quality tests or instrument tests (validity and reliability), classical assumption tests, normality test, linearity test, heteroscedasticity test, simple linear regression test, hypothesis testing (t-test), coefficient of determination (R²), and analysis that explains the relationship between group guidance and the improvement of students’ learning motivation at SMK Negeri Cikalong. Based on the results of the simple linear regression calculation, the following equation was obtained: Y=6,136.146+0.954X, indicating that the group guidance program has a significant and positive effect on increasing students' learning motivation. The t-test results show that the group guidance program has a coefficient of 0.954 with a t-value of 13.010 and a significance value (Sig.) = 0.001. Since the significance value is less than 0.05 (0.001 &lt; 0.05), it can be concluded that variable X (group guidance program) significantly affects variable Y (learning motivation). The correlation coefficient analysis result shows a value of 0.818 or 81.8%, meaning there is a strong positive relationship between the independent variable (group guidance program) and the dependent variable (learning motivation). The coefficient of determination (R²) value is 0.6691 or 66.91%, indicating that the group guidance program (X) affects the learning motivation (Y) of 11th-grade students at SMK Negeri Cikalong by 66.91%. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation studies. The research subjects consisted of BK teachers and grade XII students.</em></p> <p><em>The results of the study show that BK services at SMA Negeri 1 Parigi have been implemented according to the Gysbers &amp; Henderson comprehensive model, including basic services, responsive services, individual planning, and system support. This service helps students recognize their potential, understand career opportunities, and make realistic plans for the future. The obstacles faced include time constraints, administrative burden of BK teachers, low participation of some students, and the influence of the family environment.</em></p> <p><em>These findings are in line with Donald Super's theory of career development which emphasizes the importance of self-exploration and self-concept formation in adolescence. Social skills are crucial for adolescent development, while social behavior disorders can negatively impact this aspect. A study at SMP Negeri 1 Langkaplancar used a case study approach to analyze the counseling process and changes in students with social behavior disorders and low social skills. The background of this research stems from the low level of readiness among students in determining their educational and career paths due to limited information, minimal support, and a lack of self-confidence. This study aims to investigate the implementation of career guidance services through the Friday Together programme and its impact on the career planning of Grade 12 students at SMA Negeri 1 Langkaplancar. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Informants in this study include counselling teachers, class advisors, and five Grade XII students. The results of the study indicate that the programme is conducted regularly every Friday with various activities such as interest and aptitude tests, CV-making workshops, job interview simulations, group discussions, and introductions to the world of work and further education. This programme has successfully raised students' awareness of their potential and desired career paths, as well as motivating them to develop more realistic and focused plans for the future. The objectives of the study are 1) To find out the teacher's strategy in utilizing technology as a learning medium. 2) To find out the obstacles and efforts of teachers in using projectors as a learning medium at RA As-Sunnah. 3) To find out the learning interests of 5-6 year old children at RA As-Sunnah. This study uses descriptive field research with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis technique is by reducing data, presenting data and verifying data. The results of this study indicate that 1) The strategy carried out by RA As-Sunnah teachers is to choose materials that are in accordance with the needs, interests and stages of child development, and interactive learning so as to strengthen children's understanding, social and emotional development. 2) The obstacles experienced by teachers are the lack of training for those with limited facilities and when the internet signal is not good. This study aims to describe how the interactive digital application serves as a tool to enhance children's reading interest at the Al-Qur'an Al-Falah Karangkamiri Early Childhood Education Center. The study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The research findings indicate that interactive applications with features such as quizzes, picture stories, matching images with words, and educational games are effective in capturing children's attention, thereby encouraging increased participation in reading activities. This is evidenced by our findings that children demonstrated increased enthusiasm, concentration, and focus duration during reading activities using the interactive application. In addition, teachers also feel assisted because the Interacty application provides an alternative learning medium that is fun, flexible, and easy to use according to learning needs. As a presentation medium containing text, images, animations, sounds, and videos, PowerPoint offers a potential alternative to support an interactive and enjoyable learning process. This study aims to develop a PowerPoint-based learning medium as a tool to enhance the cognitive abilities of 5-6-year-old children at TK Cerdas Batumalang, Cimerak District, Pangandaran Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation, with the research subjects being teachers and the headmaster, and the object of the research being the development of PowerPoint learning media for early childhood. The research findings indicate that the planning, development, and implementation of PowerPoint media tailored to the characteristics of 5-6-year-old children can improve their memory, conceptual understanding, and active participation in learning. The developed media features interactive visual and audio elements along with thematic content relevant to the children's daily lives. The development of engaging PowerPoint media that is appropriate for the children's developmental stage is highly effective in enhancing the cognitive aspect of early childhood. This media can also serve as an alternative solution for teachers to create more meaningful and enjoyable learning. This study aims to describe the role of teachers in guiding early childhood children in dealing with the impacts of online game usage at RA Nurul Hidayah Cimerak, Pangandaran Regency, and to identify the effects experienced by early childhood children due to online game usage at RA Nurul Hidayah. This research employed a case study method with a qualitative approach, and the data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show: (1) The teacher’s role in guiding early childhood children to face the impacts of online games at RA Nurul Hidayah Cimerak involves several aspects, including the roles of teacher as communicator, companion, motivator, mentor, and learning planner. Teachers strive to create a conducive learning environment by guiding children to wisely manage the use of technology and online games through empathetic approaches that support children’s social, emotional, and physical skill development. Strategies used by teachers include providing understanding about the negative impacts of online games, collaborating with parents, and redirecting children’s attention to positive activities. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and qualitative conclusion drawn. This study was limited to a relatively small number of subjects and scope in one school, so the results of the study could not be generalized widely. However, these findings provide implications for educators to utilize interactive digital media in Early Childhood Education learning. From the results of the calculation of the simple linear regression test in this study, the equation value was obtained: Y = 14,554 + 0.941 X means that the behavioral approach in group counseling has significant and positive effectiveness in overcoming the procrastination behavior of students, the results of the t-test test, namely the behavioral approach in group counseling, is 0.941 with a t value = 7.065 and significance (Sig.) = 0.000. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design of the pretest–posttest control group type, involving 30 children aged 5–6 years who were divided into an experimental group (using audio-visual media or “sound-enabled posters”) and a control group (using conventional methods). Data were collected through tests, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using the Independent Samples t-Test with SPSS 26.0. The findings revealed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores in the experimental group (p &lt; 0.05), with the average score increasing from 52.47 to 76.20 (? 45.26%). This improvement was mainly attributed to the use of audio-visual media, while approximately 54.74% was estimated to be influenced by external factors, namely parental support (? 15%), a conducive learning environment (? 14%), individual child characteristics (? 13%), and the duration and consistency of media use (? 12.74%). The study’s limitations include the small sample size, being conducted in a single institution, and the absence of full randomization. The research subjects consisted of the guidance and counseling teacher, the homeroom teacher, and two students from Class X-5 identified as having difficulties in social behavior. In terms of data validation, this study is limited by the small number of participants and its implementation in a single institution, which may affect the generalizability of the findings. Nonetheless, the study provides practical insights into the implementation of value-based group counseling services in a school setting. To overcome these challenges, educators applied audio-visual media as a learning strategy. This study aims to describe how audio-visual media are implemented, to measure children’s listening ability, and to analyze the impact of their use. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through observation, interviews with teachers and the principal, and documentation of learning activities. The subjects were ten children in group A. The findings show that audio-visual media, including educational videos, interactive songs, and moving images, were applied in a structured manner according to the learning themes. Children responded positively by showing better concentration, being able to answer questions more accurately, and retelling stories in simple sentences. The use of audio-visual media also stimulated interest, strengthened memory, and created a more enjoyable learning atmosphere. TK Tunas Mekar has a policy that aligns the use of digital devices with the developmental needs of young children. The use of digital devices is regulated to support learning, not as the primary tool, and always involves the active role of teachers and parental supervision. The use of digital devices in early childhood, including in kindergarten settings, is strictly limited and must align with age-appropriate recommendations. The content accessed must be educational, age-appropriate, and always supervised by parents or teachers. This study aims to explore in depth the role of parents in guiding gadget use, the emotional impacts on children, and the various challenges parents face in maintaining a balance between technology and the developmental needs of their children. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews with several parents and teachers at PAUDQU Miftahul Huda Pejaten. Thematic analysis was conducted to extract experiences, perceptions, and the dynamics that unfold in their daily lives. The findings indicate that although some parents have implemented rules and time restrictions for gadget usage, children still exhibit signs of dependency, such as irritability, tantrums, and a lack of interest in interacting with peers. Gadgets often become a means of escape or an “instant pacifier” when parents face limitations in time or energy for parenting. Meanwhile, the school seeks to educate parents and provide non digital activities to support the development of children's social and emotional intelligence. However, at RA Al Hidayah 2 Kongkur, this ability is still relatively low, as 60% of children aged 4–5 years are categorized as Not Yet Developed (NYD). This condition occurred because the previous learning process had not utilized appropriate media, one of which is the flip chart.</em></p> <p><em>This study employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach through interviews, observations, discussions, and documentation studies. The results revealed a significant improvement in letter recognition skills. Children began to group letters based on pictures and write them according to themes independently. The percentage of children previously categorized as NYD decreased, while 67% of the children reached the category of Very Well Developed (VWD). This study focuses on the values taught in this subject and seeks to identify the factors that influence student discipline and the relationship between discipline and the work ethic that is formed. The research method used is descriptive-qualitative. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that (1) Factors supporting the formation of student discipline through the subject of Aqidah Akhlak include an interactive learning approach, an emphasis on moral values, and active student participation in extracurricular activities; (2) The discipline formed is positively related to student work ethic. Disciplined students tend to be more motivated and responsible in completing tasks.
