Upaya Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Anak Melalui Metode Bercerita dengan Menggunakan Media Boneka Tangan

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning motivation of group A children in PAUD Roudotul Islamiyah 2, Curug District, Serang City, this occurs because there has been no change in behavior which is influenced by three things, namely cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. The purpose of this study was to increase the learning motivation of children aged 4-5 years through the storytelling method using hand puppet media. data collection techniques through observation and tests as well as field notes, and using 2 cycles which include pre-cycle, cycle I and, cycle II. The results showed that increasing children's learning motivation in group A Roudotul Islamiyah 2 PAUD could be increased through the storytelling method. an increase in children's learning motivation can be seen from the results of pre-cycle observations the average score obtained by children was 46% (including the MB category), while in cycle I the average score was obtained by children 63.4% (including the BSH category), while in cycle II with the results of an average score obtained by children of 81.6% (included in the BSB category) active guidance is carried out during development activities and during closing activities.
