Abstract

This study aims to hone children's social skills through pre-service scout activities in group B of Harapan Cijulang Kindergarten. This research uses qualitative research methods. The results showed that the pre-service scout activities carried out at Harapan Cijulang Kindergarten were very influential on children's social skills supported by the activities in it. In the pre-service scout activities at Harapan Cijulang Kindergarten, the role of the teacher is very important because the activities will not be well coordinated if the supervising teacher is not there. The Prasiaga Scout activities at Harapan Cijulang Kindergarten are motivated by proposals from the foundation management, namely the coach and education coordinator, as well as the initiative of the Harapan Cijulang Kindergarten teachers.
