Upaya Meningkatkan Kepercayaan Diri Anak Usia Dini Melalui Kegiatan Menari Ronggeng Gunung di TK Budi Asih Pangandaran

Self-confidence is part of a child's social emotional development andindependence. Children really need self-confidence to support theirdevelopment. Self-confidence is an important need for children to achievesuccess and good achievements, apart from that, appreciation for children'swork results is also needed. Self-confidence is something that canbedeveloped through social interaction. Social interaction can be donebyinvolving children in activities where they meet lots of people, such as school, tutoring, or the environment around the house. Children's abilities canbedeveloped through various activities, one of which is dancing. The RonggengGunung dancing activity is one of the activities that researchers carry out toincrease self-confidence in children at Budi Asih Pangandaran Kindergarten, especially in children aged 5-6 years or Group B. Research conducted at Budi Asih Pangandaran Kindergarten for one monthaims to increase children's self-confidence through the Ronggeng Gunungdancing activity. The research is descriptive qualitative researchusingobservation, interview and documentation techniques carried out objectively. Analysis of the data obtained will be processed through data reduction, datapresentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the Ronggeng Gunung dancing activitypresented in the Wednesday Dancing program can increase children's self- confidence. This is proven by the results of interviews with teachers, school principals and children's parents as well as the results of observationassessments on children's self-confidence observation sheets fromthe initial observation, the first and second research meetings.
