Pengaruh Pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik (PMR) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas 3

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach on student learning outcomes in the material of determining the place value of numbers in grade 3 of MI NWDI Nurul Haramain. The RME approach is used to link mathematical concepts with real-life contexts so that students can more easily understand the material. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of two groups: the experimental class using the RME approach and the control class using conventional learning methods. Learning outcome data were obtained through tests and analyzed using statistical tests. The results showed that the RME approach had a significant effect on improving student learning outcomes compared to conventional methods. These findings indicate that RME is an effective method for improving students' understanding in learning mathematics, especially in the concept of place value of numbers.
