Pengaruh Pendekatan Matematika Realistik (PMR) Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Dasar Matematika Siswa

This research aims to explore the effect of applying the Realistic Mathematics Approach (PMR) on lower grade students' understanding of mathematical concepts. PMR is a learning approach that links mathematical concepts with real-world contexts that are close to students' lives. This research uses an experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design to measure increases in students' understanding of basic mathematics topics, such as addition and subtraction. The research results show that the application of PMR can significantly increase students' understanding of mathematical concepts. These findings support the use of PMR in improving the quality of mathematics learning at the basic education level, especially for lower grade students who often have difficulty understanding abstract mathematical concepts.
