Abstract

The role of teachers and the family environment is very crucial and needed in dealing with hyperactive children, because both play a strong role and must complement each other in order to create a safe, appropriate and comfortable environment for children, so that their growth and development can run holistically. The purpose of this study is to analyze the active role of parents and teachers in Taruna Kindergarten in dealing with hyperactive children. The approach used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews with parents, teachers, and direct observation of children's interactions in the school environment. The results showed that open communication, good coordination, and mutual agreement regarding the handling of hyperactive children contributed greatly to the success of handling hyperactive children. Parents and teachers share information and provide consistent support in the learning process, so that children can manage their hyperactive behavior and develop optimally. This study concludes that active collaboration between parents and teachers has a positive impact in creating a conducive learning environment and supporting children's development, especially for children who have special needs such as hyperactivity.
