Strategi Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja Kompeten dan Profesionalisme Tenaga Pendidik di SMP Negeri 2 Parigi

This study aims to examine the implementation of human resource development strategies involving performance assessments, academic supervision, and continuous training programs, as well as their impact on improving the professionalism of educators at SMP Negeri 2 Parigi. The findings of this study are expected to provide significant contributions to designing a more effective and integrated human resource development system at SMP Negeri 2 Parigi, which, in turn, can improve the overall quality of education. The research method used is a qualitative approach, which aims to understand the phenomenon in-depth from the perspective of the research subjects. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. Based on the results of interviews conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Parigi, the researcher found that human resource development at SMP Negeri 2 Parigi is carried out through a planned and structured approach to improve the performance and professionalism of teachers. The main strategies implemented include performance assessment, supervision, and training or professional development. The performance assessment covers several aspects, including pedagogical competence, personality, social, and professional competencies of teachers. The assessment is carried out by the principal and an evaluation team consisting of senior teachers and education supervisors. The supervision implemented at SMP Negeri 2 Parigi applies an individual supervision technique.
