Abstract

The most children's activities require motor skills, physical activity environments and opportunities to do physical activities during the child's growth period are a big opportunity for children's health and early learning. However, in reality, not all children have met and developed according to the standards of early childhood development achievement. This certainly should not be underestimated and must be overcome because it will affect children in facing their life problems later. The purpose of this study is to examine more deeply the physical exercise game programs that can stimulate physical motor development in early childhood. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with a type of research in the form of a literature study. The literature review method is used to provide information about physical exercise game programs that can stimulate physical motor development in early childhood obtained through reading sources related to the research topic. The results show that efforts that can be made to improve gross motor skills, namely playing, are one way for children to learn and improve their abilities. Examples of game programs that can train young children physically are throwing and catching games, soccer, bowling, relay games, tian board games, rhythmic gymnastics and crank games.
