Penerapan SIMDIK dalam Meningkatkan Akurasi Data untuk Perencanaan Pendidikan di SMA Negeri 1 Cigugur

This study analyzes the implementation of the Education Data Management Information System (SIMDIK) in improving data accuracy for educational planning at SMA Negeri 1 Cigugur. The research aims to identify whether the application of SIMDIK can accelerate the processes of data collection, processing, and distribution, enabling faster and more accurate decision-making. With more accurate and up-to-date data, SIMDIK is expected to support more efficient and effective educational planning. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method and in-depth interviews with teachers and staff involved in using SIMDIK. The analysis employs qualitative techniques to explore the perceptions and experiences of SIMDIK users at SMA Negeri 1 Cigugur. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the principal, teachers, and administrative staff to understand how SIMDIK affects data accuracy and access speed, as well as its impact on educational planning. The results show that SIMDIK significantly improves data accuracy and access speed, positively influencing more efficient educational planning, particularly in budget allocation, facility management, and curriculum adjustment. Despite these benefits, challenges related to user training and adequate technological infrastructure still need to be addressed. This study contributes to the development of educational information systems in other schools and emphasizes the importance of stakeholder involvement in enhancing the quality of data-based educational planning that is more accurate and transparent
