Peningkatan Transparansi dan Akuntabilitas Pengelolaan Data serta Kinerja melalui Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pendidikan di Institusi Pendidikan Islam

This research aims to analyze the contribution of Management Information Systems (SIM) in increasing transparency and accountability in Islamic educational institutions. The importance of transparency and accountability in the management of educational institutions is the background for this research, especially to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of resource use and build stakeholder trust. This research raises the main question regarding how the implementation of SIM can support the achievement of these goals in Islamic educational institutions. Using library research methods, this research reviews relevant literature, journals and case studies. The results of the analysis show that SIM plays an important role in speeding up and facilitating access to information, enabling systematic reporting, and improving monitoring and evaluation of academic and administrative performance. However, the implementation of SIM in Islamic educational institutions is faced with various challenges, such as limited technological understanding and skills, limited resources, resistance to change, and data security threats. To overcome these obstacles, strategic steps are needed that include technology training, planned change management, and the development of an adequate data security system. This research emphasizes the crucial role of SIM in supporting transparency and accountability, while providing suggestions for more effective implementation in Islamic educational institutions.
