Abstract

Sport is a physical activity that is very important for physical health. Physical fitness is the body's ability to function effectively in work and other activities. The research methodology for this article is a literature review. Exercise has been shown to improve the immune system, mental health, metabolic health, muscle strength, cardiovascular function, increase endurance, lower cholesterol, reduce stress, and more. Burns fat, increases immunity, prevents pain, improves blood circulation and maintains healthy bones and joints. If the exercise you do is not appropriate, it will have a bad impact in the future. Strength training can be done regularly, especially to prevent injury or loss of muscle size and strength. Regular exercise improves a person's quality of life, keeps the body healthy and strong, and reduces the risk of disease. In addition, exercise increases flexibility, muscle elasticity, blood circulation and also increases the body's metabolism. Therefore, regular and planned exercise is an important part of a balanced and healthy lifestyle. In general, sport is a human motor activity depending on the technique used. There is an element of play, there is a sense of fun, it is done in your spare time, and there is a certain satisfaction in doing it. Sport itself comes from Indonesian, where "olah" means to cultivate and "raga" means body. Therefore, exercise can be defined as any physical activity that involves regular, planned and controlled body movements.
