Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the influence of organizational culture on the behavior of teachers and students at SMK Negeri 1 Cijulang. Organizational culture is defined as a collection of values, norms, beliefs and habits that guide behavior for all members in achieving common goals. In the educational context, organizational culture plays an important role in creating an environment conducive to learning and influencing interaction patterns between teachers and students. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Respondents consisted of school principals, teachers and students who were selected purposively. The research results show that a strong and positive organizational culture at SMK Negeri 1 Cijulang, such as effective communication, appreciation for achievements, and the application of the values of cooperation and discipline, has a significant impact on teacher and student behavior. Teachers tend to be more motivated in carrying out professional duties, show a more innovative attitude, and create an inclusive classroom atmosphere. Meanwhile, students show improvements in discipline, learning motivation, and active involvement in school activities. Conversely, a weak organizational culture, such as a lack of coordination and support for innovation, can hinder the development of positive behavior in both teachers and students. This research provides important insights for education managers about how to build and strengthen organizational culture to support the achievement of educational goals. By creating an organizational culture that is inclusive and oriented towards character development, SMK Negeri 1 Cijulang is expected to produce teachers and students who excel and are able to face future challenges.
