Analisis Pengelolaan Program Khusus di PKBM Pandu Generasi Indonesia Kabupaten Pangandaran Menggunakan Pendekatan POAC

Abstract

Indonesia has high hopes for its young generation to achieve significant progress by 2045. However, the reality is that there are still many students who drop out of school from the elementary, junior high, to high school levels. This condition raises concerns among parents and the community, and hinders the rate of educational progress that repeats from year to year. This study aims to analyze the management of special programs in PKBM Pandu Generasi Indonesia Pangandaran Regency using the management function approach according to George R. Terry, namely Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling (POAC), and relate it to values in the Islamic perspective reflected in the Qur'an. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The results of the study show that planning in PKBM is arranged flexibly according to the needs of students; organizing is carried out through a structured division of tasks despite resource limitations; Implementation (actuating) is focused on participatory learning based on the real needs of students; and Controlling is carried out periodically through internal evaluation and reporting to the relevant agencies. These findings show that the management of special programs with a POAC approach associated with Islamic values results in a more humanistic, adaptive, and moral managerial pattern, and has the potential to become an alternative education management model that is relevant to the needs of the community.
