Penguatan Literasi Al-Qur’an Melalui Pelatihan Murotal di Desa Purbahayu Pangandaran

The Community Service Program conducted by STIT NU Al-Farabi Pangandaran students in Purbahayu Village aims to strengthen Qur’anic literacy among children, which remains low due to the shortage of qualified instructors and limited learning facilities. This study employed the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, actively involving community members, religious leaders, and parents at every stage of the program. The findings revealed a significant improvement in children’s Qur’anic reading skills, particularly in applying tajwid rules and pronouncing Arabic letters correctly. In addition, the program enhanced learning motivation, self-confidence, and social solidarity among villagers. However, the main challenges identified were the lack of instructors and inadequate facilities. Therefore, continuous collaboration between the community, village authorities, and educational institutions is essential to sustain and further develop this program
