Abstract

The Tilawati method is an approach or technique in learning the Qur'an that uses elements such as rhythm, rhythm, and intonation in reading the holy verses of the Qur'an. The main purpose of this method is to generate interest, enthusiasm, and emotional involvement of learners (especially children) towards reciting the Qur'an. In the Tilawati method, reading verses of the Qur'an are not only taught verbally, but also given melodic nuances with various variations of rhythm and intonation. This aims to create a more interesting atmosphere and help remember the verses better. This method combines elements of reading with pleasant sound to produce a more enjoyable learning experience. The method used is PAR-based community service, with an approach through observation, data collection, monitoring/action, and evaluation. The result of holding this activity was the enthusiasm of the villagers and DTA and TPQ children who took part in this activity. The continuation of this kind of program is highly expected by the villagers so that their children can become fluent and better at reciting the Al Qur’an and studying the knowledge of the Qur'an.
