The lack of synchronization in population data remains a fundamental issue at the village level. Many records are inaccurate, duplicated, and outdated, thereby hindering public services, development planning, and data-driven decision-making. This condition emphasizes the urgent need for a structured effort to improve data governance. One strategic step undertaken is through the Community Partnership Program (PKM), which focuses on synchronizing population data. The method employed was Participatory Action Research (PAR), involving the active participation of both the community and village officials in problem identification, data collection, verification, and final validation. The research findings indicate that the integration of population data requires tiered coordination, the utilization of village information technology, and active community participation. Challenges encountered include limited human resources, inconsistent data formats, and low public awareness in updating population records. Through the PAR approach, village governments together with the community succeeded in improving integration mechanisms, resulting in more accurate population data that can serve as a foundation for development and public services.
Siti Hazar AgisahPanisa Dwi JulianIhsan SanusiEran WandaniElsa Ditha fitria Imron Rosadi

SD Negeri 4 Pangandaran, located in Pangandaran Village, still faces several challenges in literacy and numeracy that affect students’ learning development. This community service aims to assist students in overcoming difficulties in mathematical literacy by improving the understanding of 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students in basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). The PKM method applied is Participatory Action Research (PAR) through four stages: problem identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The mentoring was carried out using a scaffolding method involving 30 students from three different grade levels. The results of this community service show that mathematics learning assistance conducted over five days using scaffolding proved effective in improving students’ calculation skills, conceptual understanding, and learning motivation, especially in multiplication and division. In addition, this method successfully trained students to solve problems independently in accordance with the established learning objectives. The development of the “Little Book of Counting Friends” also made it easier for students to learn mathematics in various places with guidance from parents or teachers.
Ai Durotus SopiahSalsa FadilaLulu AndianiHalimatussa’diyah Halimatussa’diyahHade Yustika PrayogaAspi NurjanahSesi Bandawati

The lack of skilled human resources in waste management in Babakan Village is a significant problem, caused by the low level of residents' skills in sorting and managing waste. Based on observations, the large amount of unmanaged waste piles in Babakan Village has resulted in the mixing of different types of waste, causing environmental pollution. This community service activity aims to provide comprehensive understanding to the Babakan Village community so that they are able to manage waste independently through a workshop on innovative management of organic and inorganic waste. The method used in this service is the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method, while the material is delivered using interactive discussion and direct practical demonstration methods. Based on the results of descriptive analysis, it was found that the average pre-test score of participants was 82.76, while the average post-test score increased to 95.52. This shows an increase in scores after the treatment in the form of a waste management workshop through a savings system and kitchen waste containers (loseda).
Jenal AbidinErni Triana AgustinNur AzizAriz Salma Hernanda

The family is the first and foremost environment for the growth and development of early childhood. Parenting patterns play a crucial role in shaping children’s personality, emotional intelligence, and future happiness. However, in rural communities, parents’ understanding of children’s emotional needs is often limited, with greater emphasis placed on fulfilling physical needs alone. Based on this condition, a Parenting Workshop was conducted using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach in Purbahayu Village with the aim of increasing parents’ awareness of the importance of meeting early childhood emotional needs through the concept of the “5 Secret Batteries of a Happy Child.” The activity was carried out in several stages, including problem identification through initial community discussions, workshop planning, implementation using interactive lectures, group discussions, simulations, and reflections, followed by evaluation. Supporting instruments included parenting modules, presentation media, and activity documentation. The results showed a significant increase in parental participation, participant enthusiasm, and a deeper understanding of children’s emotional needs. In addition, changes in parents’ mindset regarding parenting patterns and home-based follow-up action plans were observed. These findings were discussed in relation to parenting theories and the 5 Secret Batteries of a Happy Child concept, which emphasizes fulfilling children’s needs for love, emotion, social interaction, morality, and spirituality. Overall, this parenting workshop proved effective in strengthening parental capacity in Purbahayu Village. The implications highlight the importance of sustainable parenting programs at the village level and open opportunities for universities to expand community service activities focused on family empowerment.
Ai Teti WahyuniDewi SetiawatiMutiara AuliaSolihah SolihahSiti Lu JayyinIndra MiftahudinMahbubillah Mahbubillah

The Community Service Program conducted by STIT NU Al-Farabi Pangandaran students in Purbahayu Village aims to strengthen Qur’anic literacy among children, which remains low due to the shortage of qualified instructors and limited learning facilities. This study employed the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, actively involving community members, religious leaders, and parents at every stage of the program. The findings revealed a significant improvement in children’s Qur’anic reading skills, particularly in applying tajwid rules and pronouncing Arabic letters correctly. In addition, the program enhanced learning motivation, self-confidence, and social solidarity among villagers. However, the main challenges identified were the lack of instructors and inadequate facilities.
This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to optimize the role of parents in assisting their children's learning at home in Sidomulyo Village. This community service method was carried out through a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. Activities included problem exploration, planning, implementation, monitoring, and reflection. The results show low parental involvement in assisting children with their studies. Interventions in the form of socialization, parenting workshops, and learning assistance increased parents' awareness and consistency in assisting their children and limiting the use of electronic devices. This PKM program was attended by 50 participants who were motivated by the material presented during the workshop on the importance of assisting children's learning at home to improve academic achievement, character building, and discipline. PKM proves that the synergy between schools, families, and communities can produce a generation with character and competitiveness.
Uminah UminahSiti JenabBarizah AmaliaHaris MaulanaRifal Mujahid Dede Nurashriyah
