Transformation of Organizational Governance Based on Islamic Leadership: A Case Study of the MBG Management Agency

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how organizational governance is transformed through Islamic leadership: a case study of the MBG management agency. The focus of the study is on how Islamic values are transformed into managerial policies capable of addressing the challenges of professionalism in the modern era. The integration of Sharia principles into the management structure serves as a leadership model for the MBG management agency in its efforts to achieve organizational governance with integrity. This study employs a descriptive method using a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that the internalization of prophetic traits—including fathonah (intelligence), amanah (trustworthiness), siddiq (honesty), and tabligh (communication)—by leaders is capable of creating a highly cohesive organizational culture. The application of these four traits within the MBG management institution has proven to be a social glue that strengthens internal cohesion between leadership and staff. The authentic character of these leaders, grounded in Islamic morality, serves as an inspiration for all members of the institution to demonstrate the utmost dedication in carrying out their duties.
