Pusat Sumber Belajar sebagai Sarana Pendukung Pembelajaran yang Efisien dan Terarah

This research discusses the crucial need for an effective learning resource center in the digital era, by evaluating the role of the Learning Resource Center (PSB) as a strategic facility to support efficient, directed, and student-centered learning. Using a qualitative descriptive design through a literature study, this study analyzed purposively selected literature published between 2010 and 2024, using thematic reduction methods as well as inductive and deductive inference. The results of the study show that PSB is able to improve independent learning, information literacy, and collaboration through access to print and digital materials, as well as supporting innovative pedagogical models such as blended learning and flipped classrooms. However, the effectiveness of PSBs is still limited by inadequate infrastructure, lack of trained human resources, and lack of policy support. Although limited to secondary data without primary field data collection, these findings provide practical implications for educational institutions and policymakers: PSB development needs to be carried out in an integrated manner through facility improvement, human capacity building, stakeholder engagement, and digital transformation in order to be maximized. The originality of this research lies in the multidimensional synthesis of pedagogical, technological, and organizational aspects of PSB into an integrated framework for 21st century education. The results confirm that PSB is an innovative and adaptive learning center that is important for producing active, critical, and collaborative learners who are ready to face future challenges.
