Abstract

The technology-based learning is becoming increasingly important in children's education. One of the basic skills that is crucial in everyday life is numeracy, which should be taught at the age of 5-6 years. However, conventional teaching methods are often less interesting, so that children have difficulty and are not interested in learning to count. So it is necessary to have interesting and fun learning media, one of which is Smart TV. This aims to created effective and fun learning. The purpose of this study is to determine Smart TV technology-based learning. This study used descriptive field research with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis technique is by reducing data, presenting data and verifying data. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The application of interactive methods through Smart TV can significantly improve the numeracy skills of early childhood. A supportive environment and a regular learning plan contribute to this success, with indicators of success including children's ability to name numbers, understand the number of objects, and group items; 2) Support from the principal, improving teacher skills, and parental involvement have proven to play an important role in implementing learning. Although there are challenges such as selecting appropriate content, setting broadcast times, and technical and non-technical problems
