Peran Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling dalam Meningkatkan Self-Confidence Siswa Melalui Layanan Bimbingan Kelompok di SMP Negeri 2 Parigi

Self-Confidence is an important aspect in the psychological development of students who will impact academic, social skills, and readiness to face life’s challenges. This study aims to describe and analyze the role of guidance and counseling teachers in improving students’ Self-Confidence through group guidance services at SMP Negeri 2 Parigi. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data collection wa conducted through observation, in depth interviews, and documentation. The result of thus study indicate that the role od guidance and counseling teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Parigi is important in improving student’s Self-Confidence through and ongoing group guidance service. The methods used include group discussions, communication exercises, and providing positive feedback, and readiness ti face challenges, both at school and in everday life
