Pendampingan Orang Tua Terhadap Penggunaan Teknologi Digital Pada Anak Usia Dini di TK Sejahtera Cigugur

This study aims to deeply analyze the strategies and challenges of Parental Guidance regarding Gadget Use in Early Childhood at TK Sejahtera Cigugur. Amidst the rapid digital era, gadgets have become an inseparable part of children's lives, introducing significant positive and negative impacts on their development. This descriptive qualitative research employed an examination system that focuses on verbal information and the actual behavior of the research subjects to comprehensively understand digital parenting efforts. The research subjects consisted of 10 (ten) parents of students at TK Sejahtera Cigugur, selected using purposive sampling. Data were primarily collected through in-depth interviews, supported by observation and documentation study. The findings indicate that the parental guidance strategies implemented include setting strict limits on usage time and duration, practicing open interpersonal communication, and actively monitoring content to mitigate the risks of addiction and exposure to negative material. This research provides important insights for the school administration, teachers, and parents regarding effective and consistent guidance practices necessary to support the optimal development of early childhood both in the school and home environments
