Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of learning fashion design for deaf children at SLB Widi Asih. The subjects of this study were deaf students at the SLB. Mrs. Popi Sopiati, S.Pd as a fashion design class assistant. While secondary data was obtained from journals and books that are in accordance with the theme of this study. Data collection techniques used were through observation techniques, interview techniques, and documentation. For data collection instruments, namely the researcher himself using interview sheets and cameras for documentation. The triangulation technique used in this study is a combination of source triangulation and technique triangulation. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results of this study are that there are two learning models that can be applied to deaf children during fashion design practice, including: 1) example non-example learning model; 2) Practice Rehearsal Pairs learning model.
