Author Guidelines
The Editorial Board may request language edits during the evaluation process of submitted articles.
All manuscripts must be submitted online through the journal's submission service which caters for authors, editors and reviewers and fully supports the editorial process.
Authors should use the following guidelines when preparing their manuscripts.
1. Submitted manuscripts should not be less than 4000 words and a maximum of 8000 words including references, appendices, tables, and figures. Manuscripts of less than 4000 or more than 8000 words will be requested for review.
2. All manuscripts submitted to OASES Journal must be prepared using the OASES Template. Manuscripts that are not prepared according to the OASES Template will be returned to the author.
3. Manuscripts must be submitted as MSWord files. A pdf document will be sent back to the author.
4. All submitted manuscripts must use the American Psychological Association (APA) Publication Manual 6th edition for in-text references and end-of-text references (See http://www.apastyle.org/ or https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/01/).
5. The Editor in Chief will return manuscripts that do not meet the requirements or are deemed unpublishable to the author for revision.
6. Authors should check the ‘Focus and Scope’ before submitting their articles.
7. Authors are responsible for errors made in details, such as author's name, institutional affiliation, title, etc.
