Pelaksanaan Event 28 Bahasa dalam Pendidikan Multikultural Berbasis Event Management di SMK Bakti Karya Parigi

This article discusses the implementation of the 28 Language Event in multicultural education at SMK Bakti Karya Parigi, which is an effort to integrate linguistic and cultural diversity in the learning process. This event aims to increase students' understanding and involve staff, teachers and the community to know and understand the importance of tolerance and respect for cultural differences by participating and witnessing various activities that are packaged in language and cultural performances of SMK Bakti Karya students from various regions in Indonesia. The implementation of this event includes workshops, seminars, traditional art and culinary performances that actively involve students. The research method used is qualitative based on the results of interviews and observations. The results of the study showed that from an event management perspective, the success of this festival was supported by careful planning, a clear committee structure, and effective communication. However, there are some challenges that must be overcome, such as non-optimal communication between committees and limited coordination and experience of human resources. Improvements in the future therefore need to focus on committee training, and strengthening communication strategies to improve the quality of event implementation
