The aim of this research is an effort to improve the ability to recognize alphabet characters by using the question and answer method and using loose part learning media at Kindergarten Sejahtera. Research location in Bangunsari Hamlet, RT 02 RW 01 Karangkamiri Village, Langkaplancar District, Pangandaran Regency. The research subjects were 20 (twenty) students. The research method used in this research is the classroom action research method (PTK), which contains 4 (four) procedural stages as follows: 1). Action planning. 2. Implementation of actions 3. Data collection (observations). 4. Reflection (analysis and interpretation). The results of classroom action research in the Pre-Cycle showed that 10 out of 20 students began to develop (MB) by 50%, 6 out of 20 students developed according to expectations (BSH) by 30%, and 4 out of 20 students developed very well (BSH ) by 20%. The results of classroom action research in cycle I, 8 out of 20 students began to develop (MB) at 40%, 7 out of 20 students developed according to expectations (BSH) at 35%, and 5 out of 20 students developed very well (BSH) at 25%. The results of classroom action research in cycle II, 5 out of 20 students began to develop (MB) at 25%, 9 out of 20 students developed according to expectations (BSH) at 45%, and 6 out of 20 students developed very well (BSH) at 30%. The results of classroom action research show an increase in the ability to recognize alphabet characters using the question and answer method using loose part learning media in Group B of Kindergarten Sejahtera.
